Welcome to CSI Chapter 

Computer Society of India (CSI) was formed in 1965, since then CSI has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry down the right path. Today, the CSI has 72 chapters all over India, 511 student branches, and more than 100000 members including India's most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and dedicated academicians.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Jain College of Engineering registered for CSI in the year 2015.Every year the students from the third and final year have been made as a team to form the CSI student chapter committee. The president is elected from final year students.

The Co-coordinator, other staff members and students of the department are conducting several functions involving various student committee members. The events were planned by CSI student and staff members and supported by Honourable Principal Dr. K.G. Vishwanath, event Coordinators and the Students of Computer Science and Engineering department.

Two days hands-on Workshop on Cloud computing, Bigdata and Career path

The Jain College of Engineering Belagavi, under the banner of CSI Student branch of Computer Science department had organized two day hands-on workshop on “Cloud computing, Bigdata and Career path” in association with INWIZZ IT Technologies. Dr. K. G. Vishwanath, Principal and Director, JCE, Belagavi inaugurated the workshop and motivated students to take up real time cloud projects helpful for society. Prof. Praveen Chitti, HOD and Student branch counselor, CSI welcomed the resource person and inspired the students to take benefits of the workshop. Mr. Praveen Hanchinal, CEO INWIZZ IT Technologies delivered various concepts over industry related cloud projects.

Two-Day National Workshop on Ethical Hacking and Cyber Forensics 

CSI Chapter of Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with GeeksLAB Technologies had organized Two-Day National Workshop on Ethical Hacking and Cyber Forensics during 16-17 May 2017.
