Out Bound Training

MBA in JCE goes beyond the curriculum and pedagogy of conventional class room lectures. The students are put through intense adventure activities like Cave Exploration, Rappelling and Stress management Exercises. The student’s get to know each other and work as a team, instilling a sense of sportsmanship in them.

Corporate Social Responsibility

 The CSR club strives to undertake proactive initiative to enable students work collectively towards a better society and environment. CSR club touches various aspects that affect the society directly or indirectly like Waste Management, Helping Hand to Old Age Homes, and Awareness about Eradication of Malnutrition among New Born Babies etc. CSR club imbibes the value of engaging towards society which can help them when they start their career.

Group Discussions

 Students would discuss current events on various aspects categorized Human Resource, Marketing and Finance articles of national and international nature in teams of 8 to 10. The session would end with an analysis based on the points discussed.

Seminar, Guest Lecture and Workshops

Workshops and Seminars are conducted throughout the year and spread over large gamut of subjects within and beyond academics. Experts from industry and academicians are invited to deliver lectures to our students. Students are also encouraged to organize seminars & give presentations to improve their technical and presentation skills.

Current News Review

The College subscribes to Business Standard with a copy to every student and the class commences with current business review with a group of students presenting a review of headlines and editorial. This also includes a weekly business quiz based on the week's news. These Events along with Continuous Training in Personality Development are organized to make them “Industry-Fit”

Book Review

The students select a management related classic and present a thorough analysis of its content, context and learning from the same. They are expected to present a review, in-view and pre- view of the book and identify and understand the conceptual and theoretical principles underlying the same.

Concept Review

Students are given random concepts and topics from textbooks, magazines, journals, internet, etc. which they have to present before the class. At the end of the session, they should be able to answer to the queries asked by the class

Sports Activities

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Sports activities form an integral part of the curriculum at Jain College of MCA and MBA, Belgaum striking the right balance between curriculum & sports. With quality infrastructure and dedicated trainers, sports persons here are developed into competent athletes.
