MBA students visited one of the leading automobile company—TOYOTA, Beverage Manufacturer COCOCOLA INDIA, Theme parks INNOVATION FILMCITY & WONDERLA in Bangalore during 2nd& 3rd  September 2014 with their Program Head’s Prof. S Rohitraj & Prof Shashi Kiran

Gokak Textile Limited on 21.08.2014. Mr. Ganesh the senior training officer welcomed and guided us. Student saw the entire production plant and understood the various process of preparing fine cotton yarns.

 

 

Industrial visit to TATA Marcopolo Ltd.,

Industrial visits form an integral part of the curriculum so that the student gets an opportunity to experience the practice environment. They are being organized locally and outside to relevant manufacturing and service organizations. Till now we had industrial visit to TATA Marcopolo Ltd., Nectar Beverages Pvt ltd., West Cost Paper Mill Ltd., TATA Power plant., Gokak Mills Ltd, Forbes Campbell Knitwear Ltd etc.

The industrial visit is planned to give the students a practical exposure to the current working of Industries and to relate the same to what they study in their course of MBA. The students interacted with the workers and officials of the industry and gained knowledge about the Production process, HR Policies and Procedures, Marketing strategies, financial aspects, Quality of Work Life, Employee morale and satisfaction index.

The students of MBA need this type of industrial exposure so that they can be familiar with the policies, procedures and working environment in industries and can easily adapt themselves to the changing business world when it comes to their future assignments in their professional life after completion of their course. This also makes them to be employable by industries.

Jain College of Engineering, MBA students visited “ HLL Lifecare Ltd.,” as a part of industrial visit at Kanagala on 18th June 2013. Prof.Rashmi Harti, Prof.Rohit Raj accompanied the students.

Jain College of Engineering, MBA students visited Forbes Campbell Knitwear, Division of Gokak textiles Ltd as a part of industrial visit at Belgaum on 23rd April 2011. Prof.Rashmi Harti, Prof.Sushant Joshi accompanied the students.
